Where did this website come from!?

Maybe you're excited to have found this site but are wondering how such a nice, fully-featured site could have been put together for a relatively new and small industry such as yaks?

Well, Yakzz.com is a website that runs on a software platform developed by Openherd for many livestock industries and so we were able to bring this platform to the yak industry.

This isn't some generic content management system that was slapped together by a big company. We're very small and everything has been custom-built specifically for marketing farms and animals online. We love what we do and we love serving our members in a very personal way.

So we're sure you'll love this site and how well we take care of our members.

Let us know if something could be improved or doesn't work well. You're the experts when it comes to yak, so we want to know if something could be made better for you.

We hope you like the site and all that it offers!

To get started with putting your farm and animals on Yakzz, click the 'Join' tab above, select the plan you'd like and follow the on-screen steps.

Once you've created your account, go to the 'My Farm' tab in your account and click 'Edit My Farm Page' to set up your farm profile.

To start adding animals, go to the 'My Farm' tab and click 'My Herd.'

If you're not sure how to do something or what a certain input is for, look out for the little blue and white info icons next to certain inputs that explain what they're for. If you need help, go to our /support/ page for frequently asked questions and how to get in touch with us.
